Dave Singleton Joins FocusVision Board of Directors

We’re proud to welcome Dave Singleton to our board of directors!

Dave brings over 25 years of marketing, strategic planning and consumer insight experience to FocusVision’s team of leaders. He specializes in identifying opportunities for organic growth by developing insights into buyer/user motivations and marketing effectiveness. Dave currently serves as the Managing Partner for Red Phone Marketing and has previously managed strategic research at Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson.

“I am extremely happy to be a member of the FocusVision team and equally excited about the opportunities to uncover new consumer insights via FocusVision’s unique expertise in market research technologies.

Marketing as we once knew it, is dead. Today, consumers and brands interact, share information and ideas. Consumers talk about brands, provide opinions and shape how others think and feel about the brands they use or might use. Gone are the days when a single message was hammered home, over and over, across one-way communication channels. Much has changed with how brands are marketed.

As a result, new insights into where consumers get their information, how they process it, how it affects what they think, how they feel at any given moment is at a premium. Now that brands have access to their consumers 24/7, marketers need 24/7 access to consumer insights. This is the new challenge for insight professionals and the exciting new frontier for research.

Going forward, there will be a premium on extracting insights in the context of different situations; to getting reactions to ideas real time, when consumers have a need or in a buying mode. And innovative technologies will be key to getting to the next level of understanding marketers will need to stay competitive. Innovations that yield next generation insights will be sought by companies that want a competitive advantage.
