FocusVision Partners with QRCA to Support Young Professionals Grant

FRESNO, Calif. – July 20, 2016 – FocusVision,the global leader in market research technology, is proud to announce our support of The Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), as the first partner of the 2017 Young Professionals Grant (YPG).

In its third year, the Young Professionals Grant program looks to help young qualitative research professionals enhance their skills by giving them the opportunity to engage with the QRCA and its members at the association’s annual conference.  Up to 10 accomplished young qualitative researchers will be given a free conference pass to the 2017 Annual Conference, ‘The Power of Perspective’, in Los Angeles, California, January 18-20, 2017, a $1300 USD value.  In previous years, nearly 200 applicants applied for this prestigious opportunity.

As part of FocusVision’s YPG partnership, Steve August, Chief Marketing Officer, will be part of the selection committee that chooses the grant winners.

Individuals aged 35 or younger are welcome to apply for the YPG.  To qualify, applicants’ primary professional role must consist of designing, conducting and or analyzing qualitative research or are in training to conduct these activities. Applicants can be independent consultants, employees of strategic consulting firms, product/service development firms, academics or corporate researchers. Recipients cannot work for an advertising agency or product manufacturer.

Grants will be awarded based on age, experience level and a personal statement provided by the applicant. All individuals must meet standard membership qualifications for attendance at the time they apply. Conference attendees include anyone who qualifies for membership and/or anyone who spends the majority of their time as a professional qualitative practitioner. Only one grant will be awarded to a single company or firm. Grant awards are non-transferable.
