Historically, there was no evidence that weighting should be applied to non-probability samples. When weighting was done for such samples, it was from the belief it would improve quality, but without empirical support. Pew Research and others have been conducting extensive research-on-research projects to prove that non-probability samples should be weighted, and that simple rim weighting has a dramatic impact on projectability.
Join guest speaker Jeffrey Henning, Executive Director at University of Georgia’s Market Research Institute International (UGA MRII), to learn how you can use weighting to improve the accuracy of your FocusVision Decipher surveys.
In this webinar, we will cover:
– An overview of probability and non-probability (open) online panels
– Different types of sampling approaches and associated considerations
– Weighting recommendations
