Standards matter and FocusVision protects your data and adheres to the most stringent compliancy and security regulations

Privacy Laws
FocusVision Decipher incorporates many features to ensure compliancy with multiple data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and other national and international laws. These features are designed to notify you of what is Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and/or edit data to ensure compliancy.
Data Modification
Users with the permission to edit data can easily edit survey responses to ensure data meets privacy requirements and other legal obligations. An example would be to remove a participants’ name.
Data Deletion
FocusVision Decipher users have complete control over data and what gets deleted and when. Those with the correct permissions can view, modify or delete any of the following:
- Responses for a participant for a given project
- Individual participants for a given project
- All participants for a given project
Backup & Retention
Our data retention policy is optimized to store and retain data only as is reasonable.
Survey Fielding Controls

IP Collection
IP addresses are PII under GDPR guidelines. FocusVision Decipher is defaulted to exclude IP collection. Should IP collection be required for a specific survey, it can be turned on.

Flagging PII
FocusVision Decipher uses a PII flagging system to allow users to dictate what respondent information is seen by others within their survey data.

Right to be Forgotten
FocusVision Decipher has API tools to make searching for participants records/data across all products easy. You can then easily delete that data should they ask for it to be removed.
