Former Coke, Kraft and Johnson & Johnson Research Executive Joins FocusVision’s Board of Directors

Technology Leader Welcomes Dave Singleton and Announces Executive Promotions

FRESNO, Calif. — June 20, 2016 — FocusVision, the global leader in market research technology, today announced a notable new addition to the firm’s Board of Directors, along with two key executive promotions: Dave Singleton joins the FocusVision Board, Steve August has been named Chief Marketing Officer, and Braden Johnstone has been named Senior Vice President of Operations.

Singleton brings over 25 years of marketing and consumer insight experience, garnered from some of the world’s most influential brands. He has specialized in identifying opportunities for organic growth through the development of proprietary research methods and processes that create effective brand positioning and segmented purchasing occasions. He is currently the Managing Partner at Red Phone Marketing, and has also served as Managing Principal of the Zyman Group, Director of Worldwide Research at Coca-Cola, as well as multiple research positions at Kraft and Johnson & Johnson.

A pioneer in online qualitative research, August created Revelation®, a unique activity engine that uncovers consumer behaviors through mobile diaries, insight communities and bulletin boards. FocusVision acquired Revelation in 2014. Steve’s diverse technical and creative experience includes engagements with Hewlett Packard, Philips and Procter & Gamble, among others. He frequently shares his insights and expertise at industry conferences and speaking events around the world.

Johnstone joined FocusVision in 2015 as part of the firm’s acquisition of the survey platform, Decipher. A passionate research technologist, he has garnered significant management experience in both domestic and international market research with Hall & Partners, eBay, PayPal, Nielsen, Ipsos, Frank N. Magid & Associates and Skype. In his new role, Braden will be responsible for driving best in class customer experiences across all FocusVision organizational channels and service offerings.
